Quest Four: Pip-Boy Acquired

 [Seriously Mae is starting to hate this place. Messing with her mind all the time. She can't find a fail safe anywhere and she's homesick for the wasteland. THE WASTELAND. There is something wrong when you wish you were running away from a super-mutant camp. So she's not expecting much for today either. And then she see's the box by the mailbox. With her name on it.

And inside.. .....Pip-Boy Yes. Today you can find Mae:


A. Sitting on the lawn as she puts her Pip-Boy on her arm and starts to examine it.

B. She's sitting in the park. And while she was smiling before, now there are tears running down her face as she listens to a recording of some kind. There's a man's voice coming from the thing on her arm.]

"-I thought about it for a long time, but in the end I decided it was best for you not to know. So many things could have gone wrong and there's really no telling how the overseer will react when he finds out.-"

Yeah. And since they're usually secrets for a reason, I'm sure people are still panicking.

"Yeah... If anyone from my home who well... Could do anything with time travel were here I'd be terrified. But they're not so no sense in freaking out."

"There's a LITTLE bit of wiggle room, but... Its really hard to irrevocably screw up all of time. And... I got blackmailed into being one of the guys who stops people from doing that anyways."

Really? It seems like it'd be really easy to do that.

How do you stop people from doing that?

"....Usually it involves beating them senseless and taking their time travel stuff. Its really not that interesting."

What did you do with all the time travel stuff then? Also what happened to the person using it?

"Depends... A lot of them got put in prison in their own time for breaking the laws... As for the stuff, I had a specialist deal with it usually."

...How do prisons work? I know you lock people up.

Does it take a lot of people to run one?

"Hundred or so people can keep a thousand locked up. I guess. I don't have a LOT of experience with the prisons themselves."
